Shanghai City- Limitless And Boundaryless

Recently visited Shanghai and want to share some unique experiences and advance developments of technology and growth, demonstrating the power and potential of human mind. Human mind power is unlimited in its potential to create the results one desire, WHATEVER they might be. There are no limits with the exception of the limits we place on our-self. This is the stuff I actually experienced in Shanghai. Amazing wonders created by human mind, at one place- Shanghai, it’s true that definitely people of Shanghai think different from the rest of the world.

There is an unending list of World's Biggest, Longest, Tallest, Fastest and Who-Knows-What-Else and what next. I am sharing just a few…..

World's Longest Sea Bridge - Donghai Bridge, linking the financial and commercial hub of Shanghai with the booming port and industrial city of Ningbo, "world's longest sea bridge", the 36-kilometre (22-mile) structure connects Jiaxing city near Shanghai to the port city of Ningbo in the eastern province of Zhejiang. It has six vehicle lanes in two ways and emergency parking areas. It is 31.5 meters wide, and the designed vehicle speed is 80 kilometers per hour.

World's Tallest Building -The Shanghai World Financial Center (WFC) is super tall. It is a mixed use skyscraper which consists of office spaces, hotel rooms, conference rooms, observation decks and shops on the ground floors. It stands out 492 metres (1,614 ft) tall, a "broad-shouldered building", which looks different from every angle we view. Designed by Architect William Pedersen and developed by the developer Minoru Mori, WFC boasts of a gross floor area of more than 377,300m² and feature 31 elevators and 33 escalators.

World's Fastest Train- Maglev, Shanghai's spanking-new Maglev (magnetic levitation) train, the world's fastest, most futuristic passenger line. Smiles abound inside the sleek train as, with a breathtaking whoosh, it rockets to 300 kilometers per hour in two minutes flat. Overhead, like a giant scoreboard, an LED blinks out our record-breaking progress till we top 430 kph. Designed for transportation, sightseeing and tour trips, it connects Pudong International Airport with the expressways entering the downtown. With a total length of 30 kilometers, the maglev train has a designed speed limit of 430 kilometers per hour. The whole trip takes seven minutes.

Indeed, the Maglev is faster than any speeding locomotive precisely because it's as much like a plane as any railroad we've known. True, the train has no wings, but no wheels or engine, either. Transrapid, the German firm that developed the system, describes the Maglev as "the first fundamental innovation in the field of railway technology since the invention of the railway." Magnets are the attraction. First, powerful magnets lift the entire train about 10 millimeters above the special track, called a guide way, since it mainly directs the passage of the train. Other magnets provide propulsion, and braking, and the speeds - up to 500 kph in test runs; a good 60 percent faster than the renowned Bullet Trains - are attained largely due to the reduction of friction.

World's Biggest Expo- After eight years preparing, Shanghai launched the biggest Expo so far with a lavish show of lights and fireworks. Almost 200 countries are participating in the multibillion-pound Expo. Approximately 4 lac people visit each day. Expo 2010 features everything from palm trees from Saudi Arabia to Rodin sculptures from France. Tourists ride up to the roof of Switzerland's pavilion on a chairlift, while the Netherlands' "Happy Street" has miniature buildings set on what appears to be a helter-skelter. All pavilions are like galleries of human inspirations and thoughts. The British pavilion – a cube pierced with 7-metre (23ft) Perspex spikes – proved so popular at trial openings that at one stage it had to be closed when too many people rushed to see it.

The Expo site, covers a total area of 5.28 sq km, including the enclosed area and outside areas of support facilities. The Expo Site spans both sides of the Huangpu River, with 3.93 sq km in Pudong and 1.35 sq km in Puxi. Enclosed area measures 3.28 sq km (2.39 sq km in Pudong and 0.9 sq km in Puxi).

World's Largest Metropolitan City- Shanghai is practically the biggest city in China as far as size is concerned and one of the most populated of the world, with a 20 million population that continues to grow very fast each year.

World’s Biggest Network of Elevated Flyovers & Expressways-Shanghai currently has 6 city elevated roads (including 2 ring roads) and 18 expressways (including 2 ring expressways). The 48-kilometer Elevated Inner-Ring Road goes along the circular Zhongshan Road and links up the two sides along the Huangpu River through the Nanpu Bridge and the Yangpu Bridge.

World’s Best Balance of Human Body & Mind- Shanghai Acrobats, Acrobatics is an interactive art form. Whether you are old or young, educated or illiterate, you can appreciate it as long as you can see. There is no language barrier and cultural border. When you watch a Chinese acrobatics, you are strongly impacted both mentally and physically. It is truly an unforgettable experience.

The infinite technological advancements in Shanghai show the Infinite Possibilities of a Balanced Mind, it is a fascinating constellation of illustrations of human potential. These revolutionary technology advancements demonstrate that the quality of our life and our external world can be improved and enriched a lot by enriched thinking patterns. When the mind is balanced and in harmony, people involved in any field are much more likely to achieve optimum performance in terms of speed, strength, and so on. So let’s work inside first to have a better world outside.

Chinese have very strong religious and spiritual beliefs as well, and they strongly dedicate their prosperity to God. They believe that true prosperity has a spiritual basis. God is the Source of all supply. Mind, body, abilities, talents, education, experience, job or profession are all instruments and channels of prosperity, but God is the Source. Whatever is the job or profession of a person, one must do it keeping a definite and consistent touch with that rich Source, if you want to be consistently prospered.

Inner Climate

Today a lot of research is being done on our climatic conditions, global warming, air, water and noise pollution. We have so many instruments, meters and research activity to study the effects of these pollutions and how to neutralize there effects. But very little are we concerned about our inner climate, which is of-course very much within our control. Being aware of inner climate is to know whether we are living in inner harmony or inner conflict. The inner climate is directly proportional to the conditions of our outer world. Whatever you want to see outside, create that first in the inner climate.

We are so much concerned about what is happening in the other corner of the world. What is happening in the other parts of the country, in the neighbor’s house, or with other colleagues, but we don’t want to be aware of what is happening inside us, our own inner climate.

Many times we find our mind filled with rushing, restless and uncontrolled thoughts? Who is the master and who is the servant, me or the mind? Do I choose my thoughts, or does the mind choose thoughts for me? Does your mind constantly occupy your attention with worries, anxieties and problems? Can you calm down your mind and impose peace on it?

Now let’s talk science here. Whenever we create thoughts, we create protons and electrons, protons are positively charged, and electrons are negatively charged, our positive thoughts produce protons, and negative thoughts produce electrons, and like any other chemical, they produce chemical reactions inside and thus create an inner climate. These are directly responsible for the quality of energy inside and indirectly responsible for the quality of life around us.

The mind is a great and useful instrument, but it is greater and more useful, when we possess the ability to accept or reject thoughts at will, and not accept and dwell on every thought that passes through the mind.

It is usual for the mind to be always busy, always thinking, but are all its thoughts useful and necessary? How many of them are just useless, waste or negative thoughts, worries and fears?

Most people are enslaved by their thoughts. It does not occur to them that they can become free from their grasp. The chatter of the mind continues incessantly from the moment they wake up in the morning to the moment they fall asleep at night. The habit of constantly thinking is very deeply ingrained in the human race.

Nevertheless, this habit can be undone. But to replace negative thoughts with the positive ones is quite possible and easy. And by doing so we have a healthy inner climate and generating better outer world around us.

Thoughts constantly come and go. We may choose to ignore them and enjoy inner peace, or we may choose to give them our attention and be constantly occupied with them. It is not so simple and easy to be able to choose which thoughts to accept and which ones to reject, but there are ways to do this.

By reducing the amount of thoughts in our mind, we attain mastery over the mind, and are able to focus it on whatever we want. We will be able to use it in better and more useful ways.

A calm mind is a powerful mind. A peaceful mind brings inner happiness that affects other people. It is a great asset and advantage to be able to silence the mind when its services are not required. A person who is able to silence the inner chatter of the mind is free from worries, anxieties and fears. And thus enjoy a happy and healthy inner climate.

Making the mind peaceful and free from the compulsion of incessant thinking is possible, provided proper steps are followed. With the proper method and exercises, everyone can attain at least some measure of inner peace and mental mastery.

To control the mind is not just the ability to concentrate on one thought and disregard other thoughts. It is the ability to cleanse the mind completely and make it silent. This silence brings peace, contentment, happiness and bliss- wonderful inner climate.

If the inner climate is right, one may get physically hurt by something or somebody, but one cannot be emotionally hurt by anyone or any situation.

Today we have collected so much material possessions outside, and we are so empty and exhausted from inside. Like any other battery, our inner battery also needs to be recharged. So keep checking the inner climate, once in a while. Always give respect to others, by doing so we generate first respect inside and then only it comes outside. Similarly the vice verse is true. Avoid the habit of gossiping and criticizing others, as all this first creates negative energy inside and thus spoils the inner climate.

For the right inner climate we have to develop the right art of thinking. One learns to read, write, talk and play etc… there is training involved in every task but we are unfortunately never taught the right art of thinking!!! There has to be clear instructions of delete to certain waste thoughts, and few thoughts might have to be replaced with powerful, positive thoughts. So develop the habit of Watch, Match And Catch. WATCH out for any negative thoughts. MATCH them with your original being- you are happy, powerful and peaceful, if not then CATCH it and substitute it with positive thoughts. It is an art requires practice, but gives wonderful results.

Have a happy and healthy inner climate.

Power Of Fixity

Fixity being firm, firmly fixed in our vow, in our resolve, in our determination. Being firmly fixed let nothing shake you. Being so established in our observance that nothing can move you. Fixity indicates a certain attitude, a state that one achieves in his interior, strong within, unshakable within, firm within.

If our attention is scattered and fragmented moving from one thing to another, we will be unable to create what we desire and we will have little to show for our efforts. Without a conscious focused attention and awareness and mindfulness, we will continually live in the past or in the future. We will respond to our life experiences rather than proactively creating them. Fixity is a power if utilized properly, shall help us to focus on exactly what we want, and thus righteously creating circumstances to achieve the same.

We are beings of infinite creativity and if we look a little deeper, beings of infinite consciousness. We create our experiences and the reality of those experiences by how we focus our attention and awareness. The more directed or concentrated the focus of our attention and awareness the more energy we can put into that on which we focus. The more energy we put in, the greater the probability we will manifest an experience of what we desire.

In the end fixity is what carries us towards our goals. If man has walked on the Moon or is going to land on Mars someday, it is because of our determination to extend our presence far beyond the earth, by surmounting the difficulties and increasing our knowledge and awareness about ourselves, our existence and the universe in which we live. Fixity means having the ability to stay on course, to remain focused on our goals, to stand up to the problems and obstacles with conviction, to be fixed and firm about our decisions, solutions and intentions and to apply the power of our will to our dreams and desires with firm resolve, grit, fortitude, faith and courage.

If there is one gift that you can give to yourself in your life to be what you want to be, it is the power of fixity. Without it you are a mere passive spectator in the drama of your life.

If there is one trait that makes a difference between a winner and a loser or a leader and a follower, it is the power of fixity. Without it, one may dream wild dreams, but will not accomplish much in life.

If you have determination nothing can stop you and nothing can deter you from following a particular course of action to achieve your goals or realize your dreams...so follow 5 simple steps:

• No casual approach, have strong determination to see things through.
• Know exactly what you want, and be clear about why you want it.
• Have simple and easy steps to follow plan, to keep you focused.
• Carry out the plan to support your self esteem and self worth.
• Address your fears and deal consciously and constructively with them.

People with strong determination in life are usually goal-oriented people. They cannot be undermined by negative principles and their inner strength is obviously manifested through their attitude toward challenges in life.

The achievements of mankind till date are the products of strong determination and will-power.

Fixity is that one ingredient that has mountain moving faith, miracle generating faith, earth shaking faith and situation changing faith. I am fixed to my goal, I shall not move. If the times are tough, the toughness shall move, I am fixed to my goal, I can rise above the rough times, but my eyes shall remain fixed on my dreams and my goal.

Wait, be patient, be fixed, the storm shall pass. The spring will come. New feelings will come, new ideas will come, only if you keep waiting affirmatively and positively in prayer for God’s strength to return. He will definitely renew your strength. During the rough times when your strength is tested, surrender your fixity to God. Let Him be in control of your life. Ask Him three questions: Who am I? Why am I here? And Where am I heading towards? Listen to the answers and get the right counseling and guidance, direct from the source.

If you want to succeed, if you want to conquer, then Hope- hold on, practice fixity- praying expectantly!!

Create Opportunities

Bruce Lee said: "To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities." One man's problem is another man's opportunity, so let us create opportunities and not problems.

The truth of the matter is that opportunity is something that one has to create and possibly capture it to put it to right use. Opportunity is not something that is tangible and is 'out there' such that you need to find it. What we need to do is to learn how to carve out our own opportunities out of the station in life that we are in.

The whole fabric of human existence is based on a simple concept of correction. That is to say when something does not go the way you want then you must start taking steps to correct it. Thus if opportunity does not knock on our door, then perhaps we might just have to knock on opportunity's door.

Life is indeed a great mystery. So rather than worry about what's going to happen when we are struck by an uncertain chain of events, let’s be optimistic and create a sense of enthusiasm and energy to face the uncertainties and seek out new opportunities. And always remember whenever you experience new things or the world around is changing, there will always be lots of opportunities. One just needs to grab the right ones for him or her.

Too many people wait for opportunities to come to them. Don't. Don’t wait for the opportunities to come to you. Create the opportunity for yourself. Let me quote here a famous quote from Napoleon Hill "Every adversity comes with it a seed of equal or greater benefit." From the adversity of life there will come many benefits and opportunities. Take advantage of every one of them. When we grow our self, we grow you opportunities. Sometimes when we're accomplishing goals we get stuck. What we do. How do we find those other options, these other options are the main difference between accomplishing goals and failing.

It’s when you lose your road-map to the future that you have an opportunity to define a new path. Opportunities can come in a variety of forms, from defeat, to a simple idea, to someone suggesting something that might work. Be open! When an opportunity presents itself, do this: Step up and take it, select what you want, create your plan, put the plan into action and follow through with plenty of persistence, never taking your eye off your burning desire.

Tips to identifying and seizing opportunities:

Convert defeats or failures to success:
In a failure, you can find something good and you might find the best opportunity of all. Seize it!

Exploit Change: Change always needs a leader and those that raise the issue and make the justified case for change often become the leaders for the change process. Opportunities lie in change and when you can foster and lead the process you raise your visibility. When you are successful; you raise your value.

Imagination: We can create anything we can imagine. Spend time imagining what we want and the many ways that we can create it. Use your burning desire to fuel your imagination.

Think of others: What's useful to others? What product or services would make other people's lives easier? There are so many opportunities to help others. Seize it! Be committed to serve others through your work. Regardless of what you do and your current life situation, find some way of serving others. I believe that ultimately, we all want to serve others and we want to give something back – but as we go through life, this noble desire gets lost in our day to day challenges. Your passion for your line of work will be ignited when you can connect with this deep, deep desire within you to serve and contribute

Look for it:- opportunities are all around us! Be open to the simple fact that opportunities come in all forms. A thought might come into your head or someone says something or you see something. You can find an opportunity anywhere and at anytime. Seize it!

Be part of a mastermind group: You will get many ideas for opportunities from the mastermind group. Just think, where would we be if we didn't have friends or mentors? Meet with them regularly and you will find more opportunities than you could ever imagine. Pick one, and act on it. Write the others down, in case your plan doesn't work, and use it then.

"Do not wait; the time will never be 'just right.' Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along." - Napoleon Hill.

Cultivate a childlike zeal for learning new things: Develop a childlike curiosity about the world and how things work. Do more of the things that you enjoy and bring out the child in you.

Create a great team around you: Look around for like-minded people with whom you can create something greater – people you gel with and with whom you can create synergistic relationships.

Recharge your batteries: Spend time with loved ones – have ample time with the people in your life who matter. Also spend time in nature – this could be a walk in your local park, on the beach or even in your own garden.

The single most important factor is to consistently INSPIRE yourself. Inspiration doesn’t just happen, you have to go out there and find ways to ignite your passion. Passion is important but it is worthless without discipline. There is nothing sadder than someone who is talented and even passionate about something but has no structure behind it. Follow your passion and bolster it with discipline. And opportunities shall follow you.

Tenacity- The Power of Persistence

A certain inner attitude with which we live our life – A firm resolution not to give up, no matter what challenges come, no matter what setbacks, no matter what disappointments or discouragements come. Tenacity is a resolution, an attitude that I will not leave my pursuit until and unless I get complete success in it, I shall continue with the practice- having taken up something wise, something good, never to abandon it, never to leave it, to be determined to come out victorious.

You can call this trait whatever you like -- persistence, perseverance, tenacity, determination, doggedness, tenaciousness, strength, or purpose -- but regardless of what you call it; it is a common trait in every successful person. Tenacity is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did.

One has to be very clear here that we should develop the quality of being tenacious and not obstinate. Although both carry the power of persistence but there is a clear line of demarcation. The difference is of the intention and purpose of achieving a particular goal. Is it for your own selfish interests or for the benefit of the mankind as a whole? Obstinacy is a negative quality while tenacity is a positive quality. By keeping your intentions right and your attitude tenacious, you can achieve the impossible.

Never give up- that is the secret of success and attainment. You may fail, that does not matter- if you are persistent in your practice you will attain success. A seemingly impossible thing becomes possible in the face of sheer persistent practice, regular, unfailing, unbroken practice/efforts. It breaks down all obstacles in the way- it overcomes all hurdles and reaches the goal. This type of nature and winner should seek to develop within himself, improving one’s own self with every failure. In this lies the guarantee of your success.

Failure + Tenacity = Success

The race is not won by the swift or the strong but those who can endure till the end. Have you ever watched a marathon runner in the performance of their pinnacle art? They pace themselves watching like a hawk until the timing is right for their approach and ascension to greatness.

Let your passion, determination, and grit weather the storm, and when the hard times dissipate, the glory of a tremendous winning season will mark a new chorus of incredible changes to propel you where you need to be. Interestingly enough, facing the challenges of our hard times is a more character building exercise than anything else.

An observation about the motivational characteristics of organizational leaders is that they are tenacious. Resilience is a part of tenacity because a tenacious person will bounce back from a setback through continuous effort. Our success depends upon our ability to overcome rejection and keep trying. There is a clear link between leadership effectiveness and tenacity, a strongly developed sense of purpose and a willful determination to achieve what you want. Between our intent and its accomplishment, lies the need for persistence. The persistence to give it our best effort, again and again, not allowing ourselves to slow down or get discouraged. You need the courage to do what you have to do; to make the sacrifices that might be needed, and to keep going even when you stumble along the way.

To be successful one has to ‘plan persistent action’ over a ‘period of time’. You need to clearly create a ‘vision’; a picture of exactly what you want the end result to be. You should use all five senses to create this vision. See it, smell it, feel it, taste it and hear it.

The human spirit is incredible. It is stronger than we ever suspected. It gives us drive, passion, and the power to achieve our dreams. We live most of our lives unaware of just how powerful we are. If you look around, you will find hundreds and thousands of stories of people who overcame horrific circumstances. No matter how adverse the situation was they pushed through to the other side. In the process they changed. They allowed their commitment to the goal to change who they were. In many instances they surprised themselves, doing things that they never dreamed themselves capable of.

I truly believe that we must use the power of persistence everyday and it will not only enrich our lives, but it will propel us to success.

Latent Strength Within

Let us Understand the Hidden Strength Inside each one of us, which lies dormant or latent, unused. Ask any winner and he shall refer this strength as The Key to winning any game in field or life.

The intent of the mind is so powerful. And if we use this latent strength righteously, we can Change life, ignite our career, boost business, and enhance relationships. But intentionally it requires stretching out of our comfort zone. The more you expand your comfort zone the more powerful you become. We have what seems to be an infinite amount of inner strength. We are capable of so much more! There is more learning, stretching, and growing to be done that leads to greater opportunities, more fun, success, life experience, etc. We all have access to arguably an infinite amount of inner strength and courage. What can be said for sure is we all have access to more than we currently use. The more you use inner strength the stronger and more confident you become. Stretch yourself daily and see more and better opportunities roll your way. Tap your hidden value: identify your latent strength within.

However you define personal growth, you will soon realize that to achieve personal growth on any level, you would ultimately require “Inner Energy”. Inner Energy, as it has been described in many ancient, eastern and western traditions, has always preceded any form of action. Inner Energy is the necessary component to support our emotional strength and self confidence; it creates a clear vision for the desired outcome, to give a true physical strength and the necessary inspiration to take immediate action. That resourceful and magical is this latent inner strength. Inner Energy as the hidden component to our success has the ability to do more than just empower but also redefine our personal growth from the inside out.

What is actually inner power? Inner power is a man’s connectivity to God’s network, His decision as well as willing. Many people or situations will try and stop you on your journey to success. How do you respond to these things would depend upon your connectivity with Him. The right connectivity gives you the right ability to forgive and understand, thus allowing you to grow and know yourself more - any experience adds on to your knowledge. Forgiveness & Understanding – using your latent Strength.

Our connectivity to God arouses Spirituality and spirituality arouses the consciousness of hidden/ latent strength within. Learn to live in the shelter of God, our refuge and strength, in every aspect of life – thus developing our spiritual strength.

The tools for developing latent strength:

1. Silence and Solitude: this can be a hard battle but it is worth it. It is like sitting in a sound proof room, which is totally shut away from the noise of outside traffic: the difference is amazing. We often find ourselves in a conspiracy of noise- internal/ external and it is difficult to remain focused. Indeed solitude can test our inner reality: some are extremely uncomfortable in the absence of other people. We can hear God in a noisy room and even during a conversation but it is in a quiet place that we develop spiritual strength. So make it a point to spend daily some time in silence and solitude.
2. Listening to God: we do read lot of teachings, perform many types of rituals and prayers, all that is good, but God wants to speak to us, He wants to communicate and interact with us, He wants to nourish the relationship with us, and that can be developed only by listening- it is essential to the reality of the relationship like any other.
3. And when we sit in silence and talk to Him, just like our friend, we get the right guidance and support from Him, thus developing our latent strength direct from the source.

When we get into physical exercise we make the muscles of our body stronger, when we study more and gain more knowledge, the muscles of our brain develops and get stronger, similarly by working on our spiritual and God consciousness we develop our latent strength. And it is only those who seek, who find. Only if we delve deeply into this truth, will we ever discover how exciting it is.

We have some little knowledge and we think we know everything to solve and deal with our challenges and situations, we keep struggling with them in all the best possible ways we know, without taking any help from Him, He who has the knowledge of the entire world, we have to plug ourselves with this knowledge, like internet gives you all resources of world information but you shall receive it only if you are connected with the server, otherwise you are deprived of all that information and knowledge. Similarly in life the problems are given to understand the power of God’s resource and knowledge available to us and this is only possible once we start listening to Him and develop an ongoing life time relationship with Him. Let us fall in Love with the most exciting Person in the universe; connected to the right network for developing our hidden latent strength.

The answer is not to try to boost ourselves, but to delight in our God and make Him the center of our universe; to thrill in His perfection. Today you can laugh at the fact how can we talk to God. Ten years back to make a person sitting 7000 km away present in a room and make him a part of a meeting or conference could have been a point of joke. Today this is possible through video conferencing. It is again the right connectivity. Today we don’t know the frequency God is available at, which may be our ancestors knew.

Everything you could ever hope for is found in God. Get Him and you get honor, knowledge, joy, fulfillment, power – everything. Delight in all His wonderful qualities, knowing that they are all yours because He is yours. Seek any of these without Him, however, and even if you temporarily obtain a little, you will eventually end up with nothing.

Let us take an example, we are sitting in our car, want to start it, drive and reach a certain destination. For this, first thing is to start the engine and that is possible only with the ignition. Now let us view it in our life context, the person driving is the soul and car is his body (the vehicle for living on earth) our mind is like the engine of the car, which starts and helps us to drive and live through fulfilling our ambitions and goals, thus helping us to reach our destinations in life. But what is the ignition to start the mind (the right thought process) to get directions and reach destination. This ignition comes from Him and only His connection with us. Otherwise we move but directionless.

How could we really enjoy a movie if during most of it we were looking in a mirror checking our hair, worrying about what people think of us, and so on? Our Lord is much more important and exciting than any movie. He is the Source of life, love, creativity, goodness, beauty, wisdom, joy, honor, power, purity, perfection – does the list ever end? Like our movie analogy, the more we forget ourselves and focus on God, the more enthralled we will be by Him. We will not merely be transfixed, we will be transformed. We make the greatest spiritual progress not by constant self-examination or preoccupation with our needs, failures or inadequacies, but simply by fixing our attention upon God, filling our mind with an awareness of how wonderful He is.

Accept Defeat To Win Glory

We get real joy when we understand our role in providing genuine tolerance in accepting defeat and turning it into glory. We can turn defeat into glory only if we have first accepted that we have lost, otherwise we lose a lot of important time and energy convincing ourselves and others that I am not a looser.

By accepting defeat one actually accepts his own self, and takes the full responsibility of the outcome of one’s own actions, due to which the defeat has happened. You are ready to evaluate all your actions and understand why you earned the results you received and by doing so we open up a source of positive energy and are ready to look into other possibilities of winning and trying again with new double the force, passion, desire and determination to keep going.

Once we have understood our defeat and failure now we can turn it around. Our vision gets clearer and in the right perspective we can view the things and use them for our long term benefits. All suffering and struggle is momentary, thereby helping us to free ourselves of shackles of helplessness.

Will power and strength of conviction shatter the cloak of neglect and sadness and like a magnet, pull the soul, mind, and psyche to fuse in unison and attain self fulfillment. Thus using the defeat to learn from one’s mistakes and thus bounce back stronger and much more learned.

Accepting defeat through introspection and following the dictates of the soul within and the truth outside, turns the tables.
Defeat is no longer a defeat. It turns to be a lesson unto patience and tolerance. Suffering is no longer a pain- it results in strength of character. Moral values so imbibed turn failure to success and provide energy and courage to accept defeat as a stepping stone to glory.

Face the reality and accept this defeat, for in this acceptance lies your real success. Accept it. Trying to change the facts or look at the situation in a way that doesn't recognize your defeat is counterproductive. When you have lost, accept that fact. Having lost you win gloriously.

Few tips for accepting defeat and winning with glory:

1. Accept it: It happened. So what? You have the power to let it impact you for days or for a few hours or not at all. It happens to everyone hundreds of times throughout the life.
2. Learn from it: Instead of looking at losing as a failure, accept it as a challenge to better your craft. Competition should not be about others but yourself. You can opt to use the defeat to better or lose yourself. It’s your choice.
3. Moving forward: Set your sights on a new goal, create new challenges for yourself. If you experienced a big defeat, set your sights on smaller goals until you complete the bigger picture. However, any accomplished journey comes from small steps, so keep moving.
4. Imitate your role models/ idols: Just think about how your role model would have dealt with defeat in a similar situation? They must have used many successful ways to cope with it. Discover the ways in which someone that you admire chose to handle their defeat. It’s likely that their solution could work for you too.
5. Distraction: Instead of letting self-doubt and negativity occupy your mind, put your attention somewhere else. Volunteer or spend time helping someone else get over their problems. These activities can additionally do wonders for your self-esteem.

Besides the practical knowledge which defeat offers, there are important personality profits to be taken. Defeat is nothing but education; nothing but the first step to something better. Accept it and move ahead.

Life gives us a thousand reasons to cry, but a million reasons to smile, it is like any game you can either win or lose but whatever happens whether you win or you lose , you need to smile after that and play once again.

It is good to lose; our victory is hidden in this defeat. Losing over in a small crisis teaches us how to win over the big battles of life. Happy Winning

Be present

What does it mean to be present to our lives? We have been habituated to passing through our life with little or no presence. Yes, we are aware of the things; we can focus on things and direct our attention to details or panoramas. But to be present means something more: it means to be aware of the external world in which one is acting and simultaneously observes how one’s inner world is stimulated by the external world.

One comes to understand that without presence there is no real life, only an imaginary life. Presence is divine. It is the divine spark that brings us to that Great Pearl, our Higher Self.

I want to use my past experiences to help me in the future, but not for the past memories to weigh me down. Live as if Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Most of the people have lived for the most part of their lives either reflecting on the past, attempting not to repeat mistakes OR telescoping to the future in a vain effort to make the right decisions. And the irony is most of the time we are unaware and not even present to this fact.

When the present moment gets uncomfortable, scary or dull, we tend to move either in the past or future. Without knowing that if we want to make future better right now is the time to sow the right seeds for it and nurture them in the best possibly techniques. We have to be energetic and enthusiastic for the future right now otherwise don’t expect a better tomorrow, where shall it come from??

But more importantly, being present is undoubtedly the only way to enjoy life to the fullest. By being mindful, we enjoy our food more, we enjoy friends and family more, we enjoy anything we’re doing more. Anything. Even things you might think are drudgery or boring, such as housework, can be amazing if you are truly present. Try it — wash dishes or sweep or cook, and remain fully present.

Let us be present today. Today appreciate what is around you, it may not be there tomorrow, choose to gravitate in your field right now. Take pleasure in the simple things (keep your senses engrossed in them) Practice surrender/detachment (accept what IS, not what SHOULD be), use the Power of Now. Being able to live in the present is a great feeling! I didn't realize how stressed I was before and how unhappy! Today, I enjoy just being.

I remember a story about Gandhi ; He was asked by a reporter if you had 25 words to tell people how to live a happy life What would you say? Gandhi said, "You only need 3 words, Live Life Now."

Have you ever experienced anything done outside the present? The answer is absolutely not. Nothing ever happened in the past it happened in the present, nothing ever will happen in the future, it shall happen only in the present- that is the power of present.

There exists only the present instant... a Now which always and without end is itself new. There is no yesterday nor any tomorrow, but only Now, as it was a thousand years ago and as it will be a thousand years hence.

My past was imperfect, my future is uncertain, but my present is just as it has to be- it is JUST perfect. You can learn from the past and prepare for the future but do not forget to enjoy the present, as it is the one which is the most precious. Be present (stay) in the present (right now) as it is a present (gift) to you, to make you happy and complete.

Be with the present, be with yourself (learn to enjoy your own company), and Be Happy. As we have just enough to be Happy, As we know just enough to be Happy.
